We’re not usually big pastel gals around here, but looking at the Cover Me baby blankets spotted at Little Milk Junkie you can see why we made an exception.

These super soft, cuddly, knit cotton stroller blankets are made in the US by two moms, and come in sweet repeating patterns like butterflies and stars and elephants. In person the colors are way way more subtle and pretty than they would seem on the website — that star blanket is actually a really delicate sage green (here’s a better shot) and what’s great is that it reverses so it looks cute on either side.

I will say I’m not crazy about the cutesie product tag that comes on the blanket, but it’s just as easy to cut that off before you tackle the gift wrap.

Essentially, these knit blankets are really easy gifts to buy for that expectant cousin, or for the baby shower of that office friend you just don’t know as well as you’d like. Especially considering the price — just $35. Sold. –Liz
