I Got The Check

Check writing may not be as efficient as a debit card or as satisfying as handling actual cash, but to me it’s enjoyable in an old-fashioned pen to paper sort of way. But then again, I still own casette tapes.

If you’re a fellow check writer, consider dressing yours up in something a tad more stylish than that horrible navy vinyl thing that comes free from the bank. I’m digging these cool silver-screened designs at copacetique. I especially like this lavender leaf print from fluffyco; as well as the copacetic line of checkbooks made from the colorful pages of a 60’s-era Chinese children’s workbook–the goose and bear is fantastic.
But if you share my sensibility, act fast. Each of the designs are one-of-a-kind.
Sort of like me. In line at the supermarket. Writing a check. –Liz
