For the Birds

Artwork depicting the ABC’s or 1-2-3’s usually has a fairly short shelf-life (or wall-life, more accurately). Pastels and teddy bears are often deemed "babyish" around the same time that the diapers disappear.
This counting poster from the funky mom-run UK design shop ISAK won’t require redecorating with each milestone. It’s filled with clusters of birds, flocking in groups from one to twenty and the bright colors work equally well in a boy’s or a girl’s room. Hooray for versatility! And while kids probably won’t take this poster to college with them, they won’t ever call it babyish either.
Way more hip than counting sheep, that’s for sure. –Julie
