I love watching my daughter saunter through the house with a guitar slung around her neck. Sure, her guitar has buttons instead of strings and comes from her dad’s Guitar Hero game, but it still looks pretty badass.

This explains why I am in love with this girl with guitar print from Canadian artist Annie Wilkinson of Girl vs World. It has a modern rocker chick vibe coupled with a sweetness that makes it perfect for a little girl’s room. I suspect that Wilkinson can capture this feeling so well as she herself is both a mom and a member of a couple of bands—-she knows how to walk the walk. (She also plays ice hockey, and should she ever do an illustration of a girl playing hockey – hint, hint – my husband would swoon.)

The print come unframed but, at only $20, you can splurge on a frame or even ask Wilkinson to frame it for an additional charge. Don’t be surprised if you daughter later begs you for guitar lessons. –Christina
