I have a cow when my little deers jump on the couch, but I’d be lion if I didn’t confess to fawning over the crazy creatures at WildLifePrints, a fun new shop on Etsy.

(Ha sorry, couldn’t resist.)

Award-winning photographer Jeff Friesen wanted to meld his brooding side with his wacky side, and the end result is a charming shop full of colorful, stylish, unique photographs of animals doing something peculiar, all on easily frameable, archival, 8 1/2 x 11 matte paper. There’s a duck in a bathtub, a pipkin full of pandas, and an elk named
Walden posing proudly on a Victorian sofa. There’s even an elephant
tickling the ivories.

Each image, reasonably priced at $20, creates a strange little world where I just want to grab a slice of watermelon and hang out with the meerkats. Kid’s room, kitchen, or– dare I say?– rumpus room, any place is a perfect place for this cavalcade of cavorting critters.

But you don’t have to take my bird for it.~Delilah
