It’s becoming clear that sorbet colors have replaced pastels as the new, soft shades of baby clothing this spring. (And hello? It’s spring! Yay!)  While it may be tough for the untrained eye to see the difference between “pastel pink” and “persimmon,” eh, all we know is that this new line from a favorite baby label is pretty darn cute.

PAIGELAUREN Baby has been making luxurious 100% organic cotton baby layette basics that we’ve loved since their launch. They evolved into candy colored baby clothes, and now they’re delighting us with a yummy, sorbet collection.

(Or sherbet? Your choice. We don’t judge.)

If you need a color translation guide, honeydew is this season’s hot mint color; melon is a lovely wearable orange, berry is a soothing blue, and grapefruit is the pink, not yellow variety.

From comfy modal/supima jersey dresses, cardigans, bodysuits, rompers, and way cute cargo shorts you’ll find wonderful (if a bit spendy) baby gifts for kids from newborn right through 4T.

I say, buy those tees big and get more than a few seasons out of them. Just like real sorbet, you’ll want to make them last as long as possible. –Liz
